Success Story: Hackathon 1.0
Hackathon 1.0 was conceived as a platform to foster innovation and help students hone practical problem-solving skills, data analytics skills, artificial intelligence knowledge and creative thinking.
In keeping with the theme "You, Us, and Analytics," this event was organized by the Avenir Analytics Club at IES's Management College and Research Centre. The goal was to sync academic knowledge and practical applications.
Hackathon 1.0 was a great success, drawing participants from all over India. The event attracted many entries from prominent Indian institutions, fostering a competitive and diverse environment. Participants used their analytical abilities in a marathon of problem-solving. The turnout demonstrated the event's importance in shaping future data scientists and analysts.
Encouraged by the success of Hackathon 1.0, we are thrilled to present Hackathon 2.0.
Hackathon 2.0 will give students even more competitions to showcase their skills in an encouraging environment.

Participants must submit a fully designed website, which may either be a live site or a prototype with detailed mockups. The submission should include:
1. Website Name and Purpose: A brief description of the website’s purpose, target audience, and key features.
2. Design Elements: Clear representation of visual design, including layout, typography, color scheme, and images.
3. Navigation and Structure: Easy-to-navigate interface with a well-organized site structure.

General Guidelines for All Participants
- Eligibility
- Open to under grad and master’s students.
- Individual or team participation (up to 3 members per team) is allowed for all challenges.
- Participants must register for the event and submit their entries on time.
- Registration
- Provide accurate details during registration for smooth communication.
- Register for the challenge – Registration is mandatory for the participation in any challenge, register using the Event Registration link.
- Submission Format
- Submissions must adhere to the format specified for each challenge (e.g., prototype, report, presentation).
- Ensure that all required files are submitted, including any documentation, prototypes, or code.
- All files should be named clearly and appropriately.
- Deadline
- Ensure that all entries are submitted by the stated deadlines. Late submissions will not be considered.
- Original Work
- All entries must be original and created by the participants during the hackathon period. Plagiarism or the use of pre-existing work will result in disqualification.
- Evaluation Criteria
- Entries will be evaluated based on the specific criteria for each challenge, including creativity, functionality, usability, impact, and technical quality.
- Judges will assess the relevance, innovation, and overall presentation of the submissions.
- Use of Tools
- Participants are encouraged to use relevant tools, software, or platforms that help them achieve the best results, provided they comply with the guidelines of each challenge.
- Access to platforms and tools will be available as per the rules of the event.
- Judging Process
- All submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges who are experts in their respective fields.
- Feedback may be provided, and winners will be announced at the conclusion of the event
