Leadership & Training Module (LTM)

At IES Management College and Research Centre (IES MCRC), we believe that leadership is not merely a title — it is a mindset nurtured through experience, reflection, and action. To help our students evolve into future-ready leaders, the Leadership Training Module at IES MCRC is designed as a holistic, experiential journey divided into three integrated components: the Leadership Bootcamp, the Outbound Trip to Kolad, and the Leadership Lab.

1.  Leadership Bootcamp
The Leadership Bootcamp serves as the foundation of the training module, focusing on self-transformation, team building, decision-making, and problem-solving through a series of engaging activities, experiential learning exercises, and management games. The goal is to unlock the leader within each participant by helping them discover their strengths and overcome personal and professional challenges.

The program is structured around four key pillars:
a. Physical Endurance – Building resilience and stamina through physically engaging tasks.
b. Managing Emotions and Stress – Cultivating emotional intelligence and mindfulness under pressure.
c. Analytical Thinking – Enhancing decision-making abilities through data-driven and situational analysis.
d. Developing Business Acumen – Encouraging strategic thinking and business-oriented problem-solving.

2.  Outbound Trip to Kolad
The Outbound Leadership Trip to Kolad offers an immersive learning experience beyond the classroom. Set amidst nature, the trip provides students with an opportunity to engage in adventure-based leadership activities, such as rafting, trekking, and team challenges, designed to strengthen collaboration, adaptability, and trust. The outdoor environment allows participants to step out of their comfort zones, develop resilience, and experience firsthand the essence of leadership under dynamic and unpredictable circumstances.

3. Leadership Lab
The Leadership Lab is the reflective and analytical component of the module, where students engage in experiential learning sessions that help them connect theory with practice. These sessions focus on enhancing interpersonal effectiveness, communication, and self-awareness — equipping students with the mindset and skills essential for leading in today’s complex business environment.

To facilitate the Leadership Lab sessions effectively, faculty members from IES MCRC underwent an intensive 6-day training program, enabling them to guide students through interactive exercises, feedback sessions, and developmental conversations with enhanced insight and expertise.
