In this VUCA world, companies can survive and grow only when they adopt a customer centric approach, giving innovative solutions to customer's problems. Thus management students too need to get trained for adopting a problem solving attitude. Thus IESMCRC has introduced a full credit course on design thinking where the student team would build solutions to real life problems. Identified a prominent problem is the first step they need to take. To facilitate problem identification, IESMCRC's Entrepreneurship cell had organized a one day seminar on 'Decoding Challenges: A Seminar on Problem Identification' on Tuesday 4th February 2025 from 9am to 4.30pm which was attended by all frist years PGDM students. Experts from different field had taken session identified grey areas of different sectors from which problem statement can be picked up by students.

1) Mr. Umesh Rathod , Manager Indovation Centre, IIM Mumbai,  speaking on Fostering Innovation, Entrepreneurship or Intrapreneurship

2) Ms. Sonali Patankar, Co-founder Responsible Netism, speaking about - Actions Needed to Secure Cyber Safety

3) Dr. Mahesh Abhyankar, Director Glowderma - speaking on - Challenges of Healthcare & Pharma

4) Mr. Ravi Ravaria founder of R-Cube Recyclers - narrated story of his own e-waste venture R-Cube
