HR FUNCTIONAL GROUP ACTIVITY: FDP
Faculty members often hold leadership roles within MBA programs. Non-verbal communication contributes to their perceived authority, credibility, and effectiveness in managing and motivating students, classroom sessions and staff-members. Also Non-verbal communication skills enable faculty members to facilitate productive group dynamics, encourage participation, and resolve conflicts that may arise within teams.
In a strategic move to invigorate the faculty-members’ perspective on student-engagement and participation in classroom sessions through non-verbal cues to gauge student engagement, understanding, and interest during lectures and discussions, on Friday, 19 April, 2024 Ms. Tanvi Parikh- HR Advisory HR Specialist, LTIMindtree conducted a FDP for IESMCRC Faculty-members on Dynamics of Non Verbal Communication.
The event was marked by dynamic engagements focusing on non-verbal communication and its multifaceted dimensions, featuring live sessions that underscored its practical significance. Participants were captivated by the session's immersive approach, which included interactive activities, management games, ice-breakers, and role-plays—all offering profound insights into the nuances of non-verbal communication.
