Entrepreneurship: From Concept to Commercialization in the Healthcare Sector

Entrepreneurship opportunities are gaining relevance for pharma management students in the context of the evolving healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors. It is constantly fueled by innovation and digitalization. In this regard, a workshop titled “Entrepreneurship: From Concept to Commercialization in the Healthcare Sector” was organized on December 20, 2025 for Pharma Management First Year students (Batch 2025–27) by the Pharma Club.

The session was conducted by Dr. Anubha Khale, Founder and Consulting Partner at PlatPharm Skilling and Careers LLP. The workshop oriented students toward identifying gaps in healthcare delivery systems and transforming scientific ideas into sustainable business models. It provided  insights into the entrepreneurial process, covering the complete journey from idea generation to commercialization.

Exposure to real-world entrepreneurial practices encouraged students to develop innovative thinking and an entrepreneurial mindset, enabling them to envision themselves as job creators rather than job seekers. The session also prepared students to contribute effectively to startups, social enterprises, and innovation-driven healthcare organizations.
