The Pharma Department successfully conducted its Board of Studies (BOS) Meeting II on April 11, 2026, with distinguished participation from industry experts Dr. Pavan Bhat, MD & CEO, Inventia Healthcare, and Dr. Ashok Kumar Bhattacharya, Principal Consultant & Advisory Board Member, Zentra Healthcare Consulting. Academic experts included Dr. Suhas Aradhye, Advisor to Healthcare Organizations and Entrepreneurs, Visiting Faculty Member, IES MCRC, and Dr. Rajiv Gatne, CEO & Director, Sunshine Healthcare Ltd., Visiting Faculty Member, IES MCRC. Alumni expert Mr. Athang Joshi, Global Sales Director, Unique Medisource, also contributed valuable insights.
The deliberations focused on reviewing the existing curriculum, identifying industry–academia gaps, incorporating emerging pharmaceutical trends, strengthening industry collaboration, and enhancing employability through skill-based learning. Recommendations included industry mentoring, stronger practical exposure, and expanded internship and project opportunities.
