We all will agree that we live in a time where "Data & Analytics are the New Success Mantra" and this is also reflected in the fact that every company, no matter which sector, has an analytics department which manages the humongous amount of data generated daily. Analytics plays a crucial role in making data-driven decisions, cutting through the differences in industries or domains.

Analytics Club - AVENIR, which means " Towards the FUTURE" aiming to work with the vision of imparting the love for Analytics across IESMCRC so that the students can become better data-driven decision takers (managers). The club is responsible for promoting the culture and passion for the field of analytics and is a community of like-minded individuals keen on numbers, data, and the role of analytics in today's digital world"

PowerBI Workshop on Data Visualization

The Avenir Analytics Club, in collaboration with the Research & Publication Committee, recently conducted an insightful workshop on Data Visualization titled "Get Powered by Power BI" in IESMCRC's Analytics and IT Lab on Jan 31st 2024 .
The Analytics and IT Lab, equipped with advanced industry relevant softwares, facilitated a hands-on learning experience, allowing participants to explore the intricacies of Power BI in a space specifically designed for analytics exploration. This venue not only enhanced the overall workshop experience but also underscored our institution's commitment to fostering practical skill development in a technologically advanced setting.

We thank Dr. Richa Chaudhary, Professor Business Analytics and Marketing, for being the esteemed facilitator for this workshop. Her expertise and commitment ensured that participants not only grasped the fundamentals of Power BI but also gained valuable insights into the art of effective data storytelling.

NVIVO Workshop: Analyzing Qualitative Text Data using Thematic Analysis

Avenir Analytics Club along with Research and Publication Committee organized a workshop on Analyzing Qualitative Text Data using Thematic Analysis in NVIVO.

We thank Dr. Richa Chaudhary, Professor- Business Analytics and Marketing; for conducting a very interactive and insightful hands- on session and guiding the participants delve into the intricate world of text analytics and sentiment analysis, immersing themselves in the artistry of language exploration and data interpretation.We look forward to hosting more training sessions at IESMCRC.

Market Research and Analytics: Trends and Career Opportunities

Join IES MCRC's Analytics Club for the second installment of our Knowledge Series. We are excited to present a session titled "Market Research and Analytics: Trends and Career Opportunities," featuring Mr. Karan Chheda, a Marketing and Analytics expert from Mondelez International's Global Consumer Care division.

Mr. Chheda will lead an engaging online session on September 17, 2023, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Unleashing the Analytics : Sneak Peek into the Future

AVENIR - Analytics Club, IESMCRC successfully conducted a very insightful session on “ Unleashing the Analytics : Sneak Peek into the Future” under data driven awesomeness Knowledge Series.
The session was delivered by one of the top AI experts Ms Priyanka Shah, head AI/IoT division, Avanade, Singapore, who is the proud recipient  of Channel Asia's prestigious Women in ICT Award in 2023. Also she has been awarded with Microsoft MVP award for three years.
